on Addmine
Advertising on the top of Addmine site pages and throughout
the Addmine network is free by joining Addmine's Free
Banner Exchange. Advertising in right hand column of
Addmine web pages is also free to affiliate
subscribers.
Free
Banner ExchangeAddmine
will swap impressions of your banner in their network,
which is not only used on this web site but also
includes many member sites. Each time a
banner is shown on your web site the impressions are
logged and added to your account. As your account accrues impressions,
your banner is shown in our network at the rate of one
impression per two banner views on your site.
The exchanged banners appear on Addmine in the most
prominent position at the top of our pages as seen
above.
Banner format
For this exchange your banner size must be 468 pixels
wide by 60 pixels deep. The image format needs to be JPG,
PNG or GIF and can be animated gif. Flash animations
will not be accepted as it will depend on site visitors
having the correct version of Flash installed, whereas
jpg, png and gif formats are acceptable to all site
visitors. The maximum size
allowed is 15 Kb.
Getting
started
Your new account will go live when the following takes place:
- The registration form is to be completed and a banner
uploaded to our web site.
- All new accounts or later modification
are checked by Addmine.
- The
html code sent by email is placed on your page.
- Your
page is visited by unique visitors.
After creating
a banner account you can upload your banner straight
away. When the account is activated, you are sent a
confirming email with your account details, and the
link to access your statistics and update form. When
you receive the confirmation, it will include the correct
code for you to place on your pages. Please check that
it is the same as the code seen when you first signed
up.
Updating
your content
You can use the admin form to change your email address,
the link that is on the banner, or upload a new banner.
Each time you modify your content, your account will
go on hold until checked by Addmine.
Moderation
Acceptance of content and channel placement in the exchange is
at the final discretion of Addmine.
Limitations
Addmine will not accept banners
delivered from other web sites. Your banner needs to be
uploaded to our server so that we can provide quality of
service and avoid broken links. Banners for get rich
schemes, adult sites and dubious services or products
will not be permitted.
Banner code to use on your web pages:
- To copy the code to your web pages, simply select
the text from the appropriate box below and
do a copy'n'paste.
- Change "ACCOUNTNAME" to the account
name that you nominated when joining.
- If
you are using the code on several pages, alter
the "page" number accordingly. This
will ensure that the banner is refreshed and
not cached.
Affiliate
Subscribers
Addmine currently supports eSellerate, RegNow, RegSoft
and ShareIt affiliate schemes. If your software is
listed with one of these organisations make sure to
include the affiliate purchase link in the order page
field when you submit your product to be considered for
exposure in the right hand column of our web pages.
